The festival
A competition. A holiday. A week in the ballroom.
Every October, solo and couple dancers from around the world come to Tbilisi to compete on one floor in front of an international panel of adjudicators. Pro-Am and amateur, newcomer and champion. The days belong to the competition. The evenings belong to Georgian food, wine and the city.
The crystal crowns go to the Dance Queens. The week ends on Sunday night with the Grand Gala Dinner and a VIP show by world champions.

The founder
Lizi Mor
A World Dance Council licensed international adjudicator, Lizi Mor founded the Dance Queen Trophy and the Open World Pro-Am Festival to bring the world's ballroom to Georgia.
The festival is built around her idea of a dance holiday: serious competition, real Georgian hospitality and a gala worth dressing for.
